After attending the ACEP Energy Psychology conference last week I still feel uplifted and renewed. People in this field are all passionate about what Energy Psychology methods can do and are eager to share. I met up with old friends and made some new ones from all over the world.
I enjoyed workshops about using EP for end life care as well as how to deal with stress with children and teens. I observed master therapists such as Asha Clinton, Andy Hahn and Judith Swack at work and marveled at the scientific findings about the brain reported by Dr. Bessel Van der Kolk and others.
My pre-conference Phoenix Effect Process training was filled with a wonderful and willing group of people who had a good time learning about and practicing clearing out the emotional wreckage of their past. If you missed that opportunity I will be offering a full day of PEP training in Oct. at the Canadian Energy Psychology Conference in Toronto Canada. For more information go to www.epccanada.ca
My personal highlight of the trip was receiving a special ACEP award for my service to the organization and the field of energy psychology. I am proud to be affiliated with such a dedicated group of people.
I came home to find some other good news. I have been teaching in the adult education program affiliated with Santa Barbara City College for 25 years. This Oct.15th I will be teaching a one day training in Basic EFT that will be open to the public and will also offer continuing education credit to California therapists and nurses for only $23.00. WOW! You can’t get a better bargain than that.
I hope to see some of you at the Toronto Conference or the Santa Barbara training.
